Website Visual Asset Format Guide

A comprehensive Website Visual Asset Format Guide has been introduced to help users select the appropriate image and graphic formats for their websites. The guide provides recommendations for when to use formats such as PNG, JPEG, SVG, WebP, and favicon assets, helping optimize website performance, image quality, accessibility, and search engine optimization while ensuring a consistent user experience across devices.

Tablet Navigation Enhancements for Multi-Level Menus (Bedrock)

We've improved the tablet navigation experience for websites using the Digital Agent Bedrock Theme by introducing additional styling flexibility for multi-level menus.

What's New

  • Added support for configurable menu item widths in tablet navigation through Virtual Themes or CSS overrides.

  • Added support for configurable submenu indentation, allowing child menu items to be visually offset from their parent menu items.

  • Menu labels can now be styled independently, including support for underlining menu label items while leaving standard page links unchanged.

  • Improved the display of multi-level navigation in tablet view for better readability and navigation hierarchy.

  • The enhancements are fully compatible with existing tablet navigation and maintain the default appearance unless customized.

Notes

These enhancements provide greater design flexibility for organizations that customize their website theme. Very large custom CSS values may result in layout overlap and should be tested as part of any theme customization.

Blog Performance and Pagination Improvements

We've enhanced the performance of the Blog page by optimizing how blog posts are retrieved and displayed, resulting in faster page loads while maintaining the same user experience.

What's New

  • Improved blog page performance by retrieving only the blog posts required for the current page instead of loading the entire blog collection.

  • Optimized pagination to load only the configured number of blog posts per page, improving scalability for websites with large blog libraries.

  • Preserved the existing blog ordering and display behavior to ensure a consistent user experience.

  • Enhanced navigation between blog pages, categories, and archives to improve reliability and consistency.

  • Improved handling of blog archives and category pages, including locale-specific blog counts.

  • Updated archive behavior to prevent expired blog posts from appearing in archive views where appropriate.

  • Added configuration support to enable or disable the optimized blog rendering process through a platform setting, allowing administrators to revert to the previous behavior if required.

  • Verified compatibility with:

    • Blog List and Grid views

    • English and French locales

    • Logged-in and visitor experiences

    • Custom and repository-based blogs

    • Blog pagination and archive navigation

These improvements apply to the standard Blog page and do not affect the Featured Blog or Latest Blog Post widgets.

AI-Assisted Content Editing (Premium Add-On)

Digital Agent now offers an AI-Assisted Content Editing add-on that helps content authors create and refine website content more efficiently using generative AI directly within the content editor.

Key Features

  • Generate new content from simple prompts.

  • Rewrite or enhance existing content for improved clarity and readability.

  • Translate selected content into supported languages.

  • Receive grammar and writing style suggestions to improve content quality.

  • Edit content without leaving the Digital Agent platform.

Seamlessly Integrated with Your Existing Compliance Process

Content created or enhanced using AI follows your organization's existing Digital Agent compliance workflow. AI assisted content is treated the same as manually authored content, ensuring it progresses through the established review, approval, and publishing process configured for the Hub before it is published.

The AI assistant integrates with supported Digital Agent content editors while preserving existing editing capabilities and authoring workflows.

Available as an Optional Add-On

AI-Assisted Content Editing is available as a licensed add-on and requires AI service configuration. AI usage is subject to consumption-based credits based on the volume of requests processed.

Updates Widget Display Improvements

We've improved the reliability of the Updates Widget to ensure it consistently displays the number of updates configured by administrators.

What's Improved

  • Fixed an issue where the Updates Widget could display fewer items than the configured display count when unpublished or inactive content existed alongside published content.

  • Updated the widget logic to count only published and active content when determining which updates to display.

  • Ensured the configured number of updates is displayed consistently across all supported layouts, including:

    • List View

    • Grid View

    • Testimonial View

    • Carousel View

  • Improved filtering when displaying updates from selected Hubs, Categories, and Content Collections.

  • Preserved the existing content management experience, allowing administrators to continue viewing and managing unpublished content within Digital Agent while ensuring only eligible content is displayed on public websites.

These improvements provide more predictable widget behavior and ensure visitors see the correct number of published updates across all supported display configurations.

Enhanced Email Template Editor

Digital Agent now includes an enhanced visual editor for creating and managing email templates, making it easier to design responsive email communications without requiring HTML coding.

What's New

  • Create and edit email templates using an intuitive visual editor.

  • Design responsive email layouts that adapt across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

  • Build and modify email templates without editing source code.

  • Continue using existing dynamic content and placeholder capabilities within email templates.

  • Added a dedicated Configure option for editing email templates while preserving the existing Email Template management workflow.

  • Save template changes independently before publishing, allowing template updates to be reviewed and refined prior to use in Campaign Manager.

  • Added support for additional Digital Agent placeholders, including website and blog-related variables, simplifying personalization within email templates.

Improved Location Selection Experience

We've enhanced the location selection experience throughout Digital Agent by introducing intelligent alphabetical sorting, making it faster and easier to find locations when creating or managing organizational structures and users.

What's Improved

  • Location lists are now displayed using a natural, case-insensitive alphabetical sort for improved usability.

  • Locations containing numbers are sorted naturally (for example, Location 2 now appears before Location 10).

  • Special character and numeric entries are displayed consistently to improve navigation of large location lists.

  • Improved consistency of location ordering across the Digital Agent administration experience, including:

    • Organizational Structure

    • Office Management

    • User Management

  • Reduced the time required to locate and assign offices or branches, particularly for organizations managing a large number of locations.

These enhancements provide a more intuitive and predictable experience when selecting locations, improving efficiency for administrators managing organizational structures.
