Add the Mailing List Subscribe Widget to Your Page

1. While viewing the draft website, click Browse... and select Web Gadgets. 

2. From the Web Gadgets menu select Mailing List Subscribe and click the +Add button to add the widget to your page, just below the banner.

3. The Mailing List Subscribe widget will display on the page you're currently viewing and may now be configured by selecting Options > Edit.

Configure the Email Subscription

1. Select the Mailing List that you would like all new subscriptions to be saved under.

2. Add a Title and Description to the widget. These can be used as a call-to-action to grab the attention of your viewer. 

3. You may choose to Display First Name Field and Display Last Name Field if you would also like to gather this information. With these options off, only the user's email will be added to the mailing list.

4. You may optionally add in Tags. All contacts who subscribe through the widget will automatically be tagged.

5. When you are finished, click the Save button to display your Mailing List Subscribe widget.

Subscriber Confirmation Process

User Flow: When a user submits the subscription form, an automated confirmation email is sent containing a link required to complete registration.

Pending Opt-In Status: Contacts appear in your list with a Pending Opt-In status until they click the email confirmation link. 

Resending Emails: You can manually resend the opt-in email if a subscriber has not completed confirmation.
